The Center Housing Rotating Assembly (CHRA) is the core cartridge of a turbocharger, containing the shaft, turbine wheel, compressor wheel, bearings, and seals as a single balanced unit. Replacing the CHRA is a cost-effective repair option when the turbine and compressor housings are still in serviceable condition.
