What the Holset HX55 is
The HX55 belongs to Holset’s HX range, which Holset began building in 1987 to replace its H Series; Cummins names the HX55 as the turbo on its M11 engine. The plain HX55 numbers are fixed-geometry turbos without a wastegate actuator (the wastegated version is the HX55W): Holset distributors list 4033813H for Cummins M11 and ISM highway trucks, 4033050H for the Iveco Cursor 13 in Case IH Steiger and STX and New Holland T9000-series tractors, and 4031121H for the Scania DC11.
