Specialty turbocharger installation kits supply the application-specific hardware needed for a proper install. Depending on the kit, contents may include gaskets, seals, oil feed and return lines, inlet flanges, or mounting hardware -- each kit is built around what that particular turbocharger application requires. Replacing these components at the time of installation helps prevent oil leaks, exhaust leaks, and premature failures that can result from reusing worn or heat-damaged parts.
