Holset HE351VE Turbochargers

What the Holset HE351VE is

The HE351VE is a Holset variable geometry turbo (VGT). Cummins’ 2007 launch release says the new 6.7L Turbo Diesel used a variable geometry turbo and went only into Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups, and Holset 5325950H is sold as the genuine HE351VE for 2007.5-2012 Dodge Ram 6.7L trucks. Holset VGTs move their vanes axially (a sliding nozzle) rather than pivoting them; the genuine replacement actuator for the 2007.5-2012 trucks, 4034315H, has to be calibrated after fitting.

The name is used loosely: some Holset distributors list the same 5325950H, and the 2013-2018 pickup turbo 5326058H, as an HE300VG, while others call both HE351VE. The part number on the tag is what matters, and each listing here (complete and short turbos and installation kits) is one exact number. A “short turbocharger” is supplied without the actuator: reuse the one from your old turbo if it works, or order it separately.
