SuperCore / Partial Turbo

A SuperCore - also called a partial turbo - is the middle ground between a bare CHRA cartridge and a complete turbocharger assembly. It includes the center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) pre-installed inside the compressor housing. What's not included is the cast iron turbine housing, which is reused from your original turbo.

SuperCores are a popular choice for technicians and DIY rebuilders who want a faster installation than a bare CHRA offers, but don't need a full drop-in replacement. Because you reuse your existing turbine housing, you keep the factory exhaust-side fit - ideal for custom or hard-to-fit applications.

All SuperCore and partial turbo assemblies at PT Turbo are sourced from original equipment manufacturers including Garrett, Borg Warner, Holset, Mitsubishi, and IHI.
