What the BorgWarner S200 is
The S200 is a Schwitzer turbo frame; BorgWarner bought Kuhlman Corporation, owner of the Schwitzer turbocharger group, in March 1999, and BorgWarner Turbo Systems came from the merger of Schwitzer and 3K (KKK). Distributors list the S200 for John Deere 6068H and 6068T 6.8 liter industrial engines (177261, from 2001), for John Deere 3029, 4045 and 6068 engines from 07/2001 (177267), and for the Deutz BF6M2012C (318706), which is also the D6D engine in Volvo EC210B excavators. The same frame carries BorgWarner’s AirWerks S200SX performance turbo, which BorgWarner rates at 220 to 580 hp, with twin hydrodynamic journal bearings.
