What the IHI RHV4 is

The RHV4 is a variable-geometry turbo from IHI: IHI’s European arm lists it among its variable-geometry (VGS) turbos, which it says cover engines of 25 to 150 kW, with an electric (E-VGS) actuator on the current version.

Distributors list RHV4 numbers for the Ford Ranger PJ/PK and Mazda BT-50 (VJ38), the Mitsubishi Triton and Challenger 4D56 common rail (VT16), the Toyota Hiace 1KD-FTV (VB35, from 10/2008), the 2010-2014 Holden Colorado and Isuzu D-Max 4JJ1 (VIGM), the Mini Countryman with the BMW N47C20A (9VB02) and the Mazda 6 2.2 (VJ44).
