IHI RHF3 Turbochargers

What the IHI RHF3 is

The RHF3 is the smallest size in IHI’s RHF specification table. IHI says its RHF series “is primarily applied to small displacement passenger car engines” and was designed to be interchangeable with the RHB series before it. IHI’s specification table gives the RHF3 20 to 100 PS on diesel engines and 27 to 135 PS on petrol engines, with a maximum speed of 250,000 rpm. A current version from IHI’s European arm has an electric wastegate actuator and a turbine housing with a built-in oxygen sensor.

Distributors list RHF3 numbers for the Volkswagen, Audi and Skoda 1.2 petrol (9V203, engines CBZA, CBZB and CBZC), the Toyota C-HR 1.2 petrol (VB40), the Kubota V2403T in Bobcat S205, T180 and T190 loaders (CK27) and the Isuzu 4LE2 in John Deere and Hitachi mini excavators (CIFU). This page lists complete RHF3 turbos, mostly for Kubota engines, with others for Isuzu, Suzuki, Shibaura and Toyota. Each listing here is one exact part number, so match the full number on your turbo’s tag, or call (909) 824-1020 with your engine model and serial number.
